Tips for Cooking Roast Prime Rib on the Grill
Meat lovers surely love to eat prime ribs and for sure, they also love barbecue. The taste of barbecue and the taste of prime rib can actually be combined by cooking roast prime rib on the grill.
Cooking roast prime rib on the grill takes a little longer compared to cooking hamburgers. One also needs plenty of charcoal as the time for cooking roast prime rib on the grill may take approximately two hours. In this regard, the amount of charcoal needed may reach approximately right pounds. Moreover, the charcoal has to be of good quality.
Just like when cooking most meat on the grill, prime rib does not need direct heat. Prime rib needs indirect heat and prior to placing the meat on the grill, the exterior of the meat must be brushed with a mixture of herbs, pepper, and salt.
It does not matter whether the prime rib is boneless or not. Whichever the case, both can be grilled. To ensure the best of both worlds, the butcher can be asked to take off the bones from the prime rib and allow the bones to be tied back on top of the meat.

However, if the temperature cools off, the vents may be opened until the flames flare up again.
The cover may be removed after two hours of grilling and the temperature may be checked using the meat thermometer. Note that the temperature of the interior should be approximately 115 degrees to determine that the meat is rare and the temperature has to be approximately 150 degrees to determine that the meat is well done. It is also important for the temperature of the middle part of the meat to be checked to fully determine whether the meat is ready to be served or not.
